Last night, MTV’s ‘The City’ (Hills spinoff starring Whitney Port) shot a dinner party scene at Olivia Palermo’s apartment. Participants included Whitney, Whitney’s boyfriend and Olivia Palermo. So I guess Olivia changed her mind about reality television (trust me, she’s doing it)! And the show does sound more legit ‘New York’ than the show that approached me earlier this year (”The 10021,” now apparently called “Social Heights”). The City has MTV backing and possible Manhattan natives making cameos but none of this necessarily matters because the concept of show is more of a ‘HIlls’ formula.
