The Night I met Jon Hamm
Last night I went to a comedy hosted by the great Harris Wittles and Armen Weitzman. I went to the show (The Badger Promise) last month and really enjoyed it. The main reason for going this week was because none other than Jon Hamm from Mad Men was going to be there. The first thing they did when he came onto the stage was say “We’ll pick 5 of you to shake his hand”. They then put an oven mitt over his hand and picked 5 people. I know both those guys so I figure that’s why I got picked but honestly I was star struck and afraid I would go in for the kiss. As I went up to shake his hand “Jamming” by Bob Marley came on. I shook his hand and then turned towards my friends to pose for a picture, then turned around to walk away. I guess he saw that my friends didn’t take the picture because he grabbed me by the arm and turned me around for another picture. What I really wanted to was to grab his crotch and whisper “I’ll destroy you” but I realized that might be a little strange.
While waiting in line for this show I also saw my second biggest celeb crush Zooey Deschanel walking down the street.
I realize this seems rushed (because it is) and like a crushing 13 year old girl wrote it (because that’s how I feel).
